A Letter From the President
Nine men chartered Epsilon Beta Lambda in Macon in 1949, and what they began has not stopped since. More than seventy-five years on, the brothers of this chapter are still doing the work in front of us.
That work is a federal college-access program this chapter founded in 1978 and still runs; a leadership cohort of young men in a Macon high school; scholarships that follow a student all the way through to graduation; and neighbors registered to vote, fed at Thanksgiving, and looked after when it matters.

Alpha Esquires
The chapter's youth leadership program, hosted at Southwest High School in Macon. Every young man who graduates from it leaves with scholarship support — the chapter made that a rule rather than a hope.

The Chapter’s Awards
Two memorial awards for Bibb and Jones County students, and the MidSouth Community Credit Union award — $2,000 paid across four years, so the support lasts the length of a degree rather than one semester.

Go-to-High-School Go-to-College, Project Alpha, A Voteless People is a Hopeless People, and Brother's Keeper. Four programs every chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha runs, some of them for a hundred years — this is the shape they take in Macon.

Epsilon Beta Lambda is an alumni chapter, and it is the chapter for Middle Georgia. Whichever of these is you, the first step is the same one — a conversation.
You Are Not Yet a Brother
Alumni membership asks for a four-year degree, good character, registration to vote, and the sponsorship of brothers of this chapter. There is no pledging, and there is no hazing.
You Are Already a Brother
Initiated elsewhere and moved into Middle Georgia, or away longer than you meant to be. However long it has been, the chapter would rather hear from you than not.
