The Central Georgia Empowerment Fund (CGEF) is a giving circle supporting the inclusion of black leadership and non-profits serving the black community.​  Its aim is to improve the quality of life for the African American communities by enhancing sustainability, creating opportunities for an increased political imagination, and fostering self-sufficiency in individuals that have been long marginalized and excluded in many ways from wealth building.
The Tubman Museum is the largest museum in the nation dedicated to educating people about the Art, History and Culture of African Americans. The Tubman Museum fulfills its mission through diverse exhibitions, innovative educational programming, cutting edge technology and a host of special events throughout the year.
